Universidad Nacional de Cordoba


Founded in 1613, the National University of Cordoba (Argentina) is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Latin America. Thier colonial-style university buildings, located in the city center, were designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. UNC has played a vital role in bringing recognition to regional history. Faculties here cover every area of academics. With more than 100 research centers, 25 libraries, 17 museums and two observatories of astronomy, UNC has all the qualities of a university that combines of tradition, innovation and excellence. The Faculty of Urban Planning, Design and Architecture works on the preservation of territories and cultural heritage and organizes a summer school program to research these issues with the University of Padua.
