Since September 2009, students TPTI participate in a summer school organized in Barcelona by the Chair Technical Heritage of UNESCO, as part of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in collaboration with the Museum of Science and Technique of Catalonia (Terrassa).

The summer school runs for two weeks, during which students receive intensive training in the History of Technology and Industrial Heritage, through lectures and field visits. It is an important introduction to the European academic knowledge, with his entire professional conferences and field visits.

This summer school has proven, in addition to scientific interest, an excellent way to weld the promotions and build  immediately the collective student.
