|
The instructional model of the TPTI master program consists of classes, seminars, fieldwork, analysis of sources, critical reviews of books, small group work with tutors, and individual meetings with faculty referents. The Master program is divided into 4 semesters. After approval of the project, the student will be assigned a referent professor of one of the three universities. The referent professor will lead the achievement of his student, the choice of placement and choice of options at every stage of his career. The course itself consists of three components to be validated in three semesters. The fourth semester is devoted to the project (seminar, completion of thesis) at the university related to the professor of the referent. Students follow the same route of mobility for semesters 1, 2 and 3. They spend the 4 semester in one of three universities of the consortium :
- S1 : Paris (30 ECTS)
- S2 : Padua (30 ECTS)
- S3 : Evora (30 ECTS)
- S4 : Paris or Padua or Evora + 1 mobility specialty of 5 weeks (30 ECTS)
The students are acquainted with their preference for the S4 upon acceptance of their project. This is related to the award of referent teacher on the basis of their projects at the time of admission. Students are to make email contact with their referent teacher in an early stage of their schooling. These contacts are maintained with regularity throughout the course of mobility. The schedule for two years TPTI is as follows : October-June : 13 teaching weeks in Paris (S1) and Padua (S2) October-June : 13 weeks of teaching in Evora (S3), then the University of referent professor (S4). The timetable reflects the overall timing of each university, as determined each year by their organizing bodies. The course of TPTI master program is characterized by its homogeneity and complementarily. For this reason, the allocation of ECTS credits between universities of the Consortium is absolutely identical, both in quantity and in terms of structure.
